Williamsville Wellness Plantation Provides a Healing Environment

You won’t find a cold, clinical setting here. Nestled on 400 acres of beautiful Virginia countryside, Williamsville Wellness provides a tranquil sanctuary for the recovering alcoholic.
We believe that the true path to healing begins in a place where you feel safe, secure, and relaxed. That’s why our home is designed to make you feel at home.
You’ll stay in one of Virginia’s historic plantation houses. Built more than 200 years ago, the Williamsville Plantation house has been restored to provide a comfortable, healing experience for our residents.

Picturesque. Charming. Peaceful. We’ll welcome you into our homelike environment, provide the help you need to conquer your gambling addiction, and give you the tools necessary to live a healthier life.

Our scenic walking trails symbolize your first step toward recovery. Our unique therapeutic rooms--the Williamsville Express caboose and trolley car—represent your continuing journey of health and wellness.
Here’s what you can expect when you come to Williamsville Wellness:

Individual and Group Therapy.  For many residents, their stay with us is the first time they feel as if someone understands their struggles. That’s why you’ll get the understanding and privacy you deserve in individual therapy. You’ll also benefit from the insights and experiences of other residents during group therapy.

Family Therapy. Alcohol addiction impacts the entire family. We’ll help your loved ones understand the cycle of addiction, show them how they can help you while you recover, and create an ongoing action plan for healing.

Educational Lectures. You already know how it feels to be a alcoholic. You’ll learn why people drink and what you can do to continue on the path of abstinence.

Physical Therapy.  There’s more to healing addiction than stopping the behavior. The stress takes a negative toll on your body. We believe in treating all the negative effects of addiction, not just the behavior. That’s why we use the healing touch of physical therapy to promote overall health and wellness while you recover.

Art Therapy. Through creative expression, you’ll benefit by reducing stress, improving your emotional and mental functions, and by enhancing overall health and wellness.

More…. Other therapeutic options are available. We’ll also provide the safety, security, and privacy you need so that your stay is a comfortable one.
