Do you want to stop drinking for good?

It isn’t easy to admit that you may be a problem drinker.

It’s even more difficult to say it out loud.

"I have a problem with alcohol."

The first time you say these words, they will terrify you. The next time you say them, the healing journey toward recovery begins.

Williamsville Wellness is a unique licensed 30 DAY residential alcohol treatment center designed for men and women suffering from the effects of alcohol. This setting offers a safe and serene haven to change lifestyles. It is our conviction that alcoholism became the problem when it was used to seek relief from the many underlying issues in one’s life.

Our alcohol treatment center philosophy is that the roots of the problems require identification so that they can be treated, leading to recovery.

For this process, each clients alcohol treatment is a totally individualized plan developed uniquely for each Williamsville Wellness client. Since our entire population is limited to eight patients, each receives very intensive, individualized therapy: as many as 65 or more one-on-one sessions during the course of a one-month alcohol treatment program. The residential alcoholism treatment program is designed with the alcoholic and for the alcoholic, and of course, this includes family members.

The client has the addiction, but the addiction hurts many others, especially family members. Williamsville Wellness alcohol treatment program requires that significant family members also participate in the program. They have been hurt, may be angry, fearful of the future or suffer from depression. They may have enabled the alcoholic. They need to understand the illness, and they need to learn how to be part of the recovery effort. Family members will have individual therapy sessions with our alcoholic treatment team as needed.

Williamsville Wellness is proud of its comprehensive alcohol treatment team consisting of a full time psychiatrist, psychologists, a family therapist, an art therapist, a hypnotherapist and of course, those who’ve walked the line, the peer counselors. Our residential alcohol treatment team understands and knows how to treat this complex psychiatric disorder called alcoholism and the often co-existing disorders.
